Summer Solstice 108 Sun Salutations

Service Description

A celebration of the Summer Solstice with 108 salutations and Yoga Nidra. In yoga, the number 108 refers to spiritual completion. It is why japa malas are composed of 108 beads, why pranayama is often completed in cycles of 108, and why sun salutations are often performed in nine rounds of the 12 postures (totalling 108). In this special celebration of the longest day of the year we will be performing 108 sun salutations across all variations of A,B and C as well as with options such as sphinx, table top and childs pose in order to make this a strong but energising practice rather than depleting. We will take breaks and counter poses to make this a fun and joyful class. Finishing with Yoga Nidra and a wonderful Savasana. We will toast in the longest day with a glass of fizz and there will be drinks and snacks throughout plus a gift to take home. A degree of mobility and fitness is essential but this will not be an advanced practice. Please bring with you a mat and drink and a blanket / pillow for the Nidra and Savasana at the end. THIS EVENT IS FREE TO FLOW CLUB MEMBERS

Cancelation Policy

Block Booking cancellations can be made via the app. To cancel a booking at Pentyrch Village Hall, Taffs Well Village Hall, All Hallows Hall, Radyr Methodist Hall or Ystradowen Village Hall, Miskin Manor Health Club or other classes that are booked via my website or app please contact me at least 24 hours in advance. I'm afraid refunds cannot be guaranteed if 24 hours notice is not given. Bookings and cancellations for classes at any other locations are to be done directly with them. Special events cancellation: 100% refund if more than one weeks notice given, 50% refund in the event of 1 to 7 days notice given. No refunds issued in the event of cancellation within 24 hours of the event
